Ted graduated from Ohio University, in Athens, Ohio, receiving a BA, Cum Laude, in 1974, and from Woodrow Wilson College of Law in Atlanta, Georgia, receiving his Juris Doctorate in 1980. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia. Ted is an accomplished attorney with a strong background in real estate law, including title claims analysis and resolution; title claims litigation; title underwriting; real estate lending compliance, real estate acquisition, purchase and sale, REO and foreclosures, development of both residential and commercial. In his practice he has:

He was a founding partner of Cox, Corwin & Niedrach, P.C. in 2000 that became known for its’ strong real estate presence in the Rome, Cartersville, and Calhoun markets, at one time having eight (8) regional offices located in northwest Georgia.
He is an active member in the Rome Area Board of Realtors. He is a member of Rome Rotary and served the community as a member of the Board of Directors for the Family Resource Center and the Rome-Floyd County Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Board. He was also a member of the Board of Directors for Cartersville-Bartow Chamber of Commerce and the Cartersville-Bartow County Habitat for Humanity. He was a founding member and past Vice-Chairman of the Josh Brown Foundation a recognized 501(c)(3) working to improve teenage driving skills. Ted is a member and past Chairman of Board of Deacons of the First Presbyterian Church of Rome, Georgia. He lost his wife Janice to a long battle with cancer. Ted and Janice have two grown children and 5 grandchildren.
